What analogy would you use to signify a person in life?
An analogy I would use to signify a persons life is a paddling race for me. I would use this because in the beginning of the race it stars slow as you get started. Then it picks up as you go. There are good parts and bad parts while we race just like life. There are multiple factors of this race that could throw us off for example timing, looking down, hitting the side of the boat, getting tired, etc. For example if our timing is off then it could through everything off and we could slow down. To fix this we would have to work hard and really focus to get our boat back into the rhythm. Over time you get tired and sometimes feel like giving up but you are apart of the team and have to keep going to pill it’s finished. In the end it is worth it even if you didn’t win the race you still finished strong.
How do you feel about life?
I think life is very confusing. There are so many different things you can do and become. It is short and bumpy. Never have I ever heard someone say life is easy. It comes with its good and bad. There’s laughter and friends and family, and beautiful places to see but there is also sadness and death and loss as well. Life I just one big rollercoaster here to hit you with surprise because you never know what’s next. You’ll get your happy moments and times of success and there is plenty of room for mistakes as well, in the end you just have to make it all count for something.
What do you hope you get out of life?
I think life is a combination of developing your character and finding your purpose. In the beginning of life when we are just children, we play we laugh we fall we learn, then you get a little older and begin to read and write. In middle school you learn the basics of everything from english to science to math and history. Then in high school you explore and you go deeper into the core subjects and find more of your passions and hobbies. As your high school career continues you learn as much as you can and sometimes even find something your really good at or want to do when your older like a purpose. Some are lucky enough to find what the wanna be in high school but it is completely okay to find it later because everyone is different. Of course a long the way you run into challenges and struggles, ups and downs but this is all essential in building your character as well. I think finding your purpose is one of the most crucial parts in life as well as what you want to be, who you want to be, and how you want to get there. Figuring out the type of person you want to be is equally important and I feel that is what life is all about.
What is your approach to living in the short time we have?
My approach to living a short life is that we should try new things, take risks, take opportunities, and do as much as you can. We live a short life and there are so many different things each individual is capable of, the possibilities are honestly endless. Along with living a short life, taking risks, trying new things and taking opportunities these ideas all have a role in developing your character and finding your purpose as well. I think life being big and full yet so short at the same time is almost like a challenge to fit everything in and get to the top or to not. But in the end I believe you should do what makes you happy, sprang time with your loved ones, and appreciate those around you even if you don’t fit everything in and get to the top because life is short.
